SPOTS TO VISIT - MIAMI EDITION
If you haven't been to Miami, you're in for a treat. There are so many places to see and so much to do that it literally never stops. Every month there are new events, festivals, carnivals, places to eat, concerts, shows, and more. LItteraly, the choices are endless. I've been traveling to Miami non stop for the past 4 years and I visited my share of places. Here are my fave spots to go to this year:
1. LIVING ROOM (FAENA)
This is my favourite spot in Miami. If I had to pick a single place to go I would choose Living Room. Located in the Faena Hotel, this bar offers great live music in a super eccentric vibe. The decor is stunning and the cocktails are delicious.
2. SOHO HOUSE
Unless you have a membership you can't get in but if you have a friend who does, then I recommend checking it out. It's located on the rooftop of the Soho Beach House hotel. This exclusive member's only club offers a great menu and a nice vibe to enjoy some cocktails and music. No photos allowed as exclusives are always present. PS. Ceconni's is located on the ground floor (one of my favourite restaurant in Miami).
I recently discovered this spot and loved it. The Tearoom is a speakeasy bar with an incredibly beautiful view of Miami. It offers a cozy vibe with a moody asian decor. It was kept a secret for most of its existence until a few years ago. To get in, you have to enter through a hidden door on the 40th floor. Located in Brickell.
4. DIOR CAFE
Bourgeoisie is the perfect word to describe this little cafe located on the roof of the Dior boutique in the Design District. If you've never been, make sure to bring some cash because your coffee will cost you about 10$. No joke. Nothing says DIOR like an almond milk latte with the Dior logo crafted on it - for a steep price.
5. KEY BISCAYNE
Just 15 minutes south of Miami Beach, Key Biscayne is the perfect little getaway from the noise and chaos of Miami. I personally love it because it makes me feel like I'm away while remaining super close to the city. It has beautiful white beaches and very cute restaurants. Key Biscayne is a small community that really makes you feel like home. If you're planning on visiting, I highly recommend staying at the Ritz Carlton.
