I'll begin this post by emphasizing how much I LOVE SHOPPING ONLINE. I pretty much only shop online... honestly.
Being in quarantine will inevitably make us all do some funky things and also buy some funky things. Some of us are creating new healthy (or unhealthy) habits and others are discovering new interests they didn't know they had. Like baking bread for example. Did you know you can get seriously attached to a sourdough starter mix? I didn't. But I do now.
Anyway, there's a bunch of things you can do in isolation and among them all, there's online shopping! So for fun's sake, here's a list of (some) of my quarantine purchases.
1. TRADING BOOK
At the beginning of quarantine I got interested in day trading as well as long term trading. I knew the market was about to go through a major economical crisis and all I could think about was that I wish I had educated myself on trading. I purchased "How to Day Trade for a Living", opened an investment account and started reading and learning the most I could about the subject. I've been enjoying it so much that learning on the subject become part of my everyday routine. I recommend this book to anyone who's interested in day trading and doesn't know anything about the subject. This will teach you a whole lot.
2. WAHL FACE HAIR TRIMMER
I've been wanting to find a good one since I first tried it at the Ritz Carlton spa about a year ago. They had just started becoming popular but were so expensive and selling for over 100$. If you don't know what it is, it's basically a "razor" for your face hairs that trims all the fuzz and makes your skin silky smooth. I know what you're thinking and no, the hairs don't grow back longer or darker, I swear! A few weeks ago I saw someone recommend one on social media and purchased it on amazon for 20$. It works really well and makes my face feel super soft. I'm really happy with this purchase. Oh and by the way, the whole point of removing the tiny fuzz on your face is not only to make it smoother but it also makes your creams (that you pay loads of money for) absorb into your skin much more effectively. Don't hesitate and try it. You'll thank me later.
3. DIGITAL KITCHEN SCALE
Baking bread has become a little bit of an obsession of mine (as some of you might have noticed on instagram). One thing I learned about baking was that you absolutely need a good kitchen scale. The one below is high quality and works really well - it also provides different measuring units.
4. HAIR CURLER
I am so bad at curling my hair... I just don't get it. Girls make it look so effortless that I gave myself a goal to finally figure out how they do it and I bought myself a curling wand. I researched google for a quality one that won't break the bank and finally settled on this baby below. So far, I only used the thickest wand and it does wonders. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good curling wand.

5. MANDY'S SALAD COOKING BOOK
I ordered it pre-launch on amazon in April and finally received it today!!! I was so excited when I found out they were releasing a cook book because I always wanted a solid healthy recipe book and I'm glad I bought it. Thanks Mandy's!
